Happy Friday Ya'll!! Today I really just want to do show and tell. I've come across some amazing products that some of will be releasing as soon as the end of this month!! And believe me when I say I want all of them!!
First up is Benefit's They're Real Push Up Liner!! As soon as this product came out I prayed that they would be releasing more colors than black. And they heard my cries at night because not only is the liner coming out in 4 new shades but so is the mascara.
Another one of my favorite brands, Kat Von D. These colors are gorgeous and if you have used them then you know how they don't budge from your lips.
Urban Decay is coming out with a 4th Naked palette, a Naked Smokey Palette.
Lorac!! Two new eye shadow palettes!! One is all MATTE!! Beautiful!! And their own contour palette.
Mac's matte lipstick line. This one is currently available on their site.
Glam Glow has done it again........Flash Mud......this is a brightening treatment mask.
Givenchy eye shadow palette....look at this packaging. Who cares what is in it? :)
So now you can see why I am over here drooling away and maybe some things that will be on my birthday wish list (yes my birthday is in October and so what lol).
Which product are you most excited about?? Let us know in the comments below!! And thank you to +TrendMood for always keeping us current xoxo

MAC Bao Bao Wan Collection Swatches and Reviews
![]() |
Spring 2015 |
I am sure you have already googled Bao Bao Wan so I won't go into the inspiration behind it and I will get straight to the beauty of it and the pieces I was lucky enough to get to review.
The packaging is also something that gets the collector in me going......the metallic gold and matte green packaging is beautiful and the colors of the collection take me to an exotic place far away from Illinois.
There were 4 lipsticks in this collection and I chose 3 of them. Romantic Breakdown, Burmese Kiss and Lavender Jade. I also chose the Summer Opal beauty powder. I am always on the hunt for the perfect highlighter. In my opinion though, Summer Opal was the worst performer for me.
With it being a golden peach, bronze shimmer, with a warm undertone, of course I knew it would look great on me but I just didn't feel like it gave me the glow it should have. Becca Opal did better.
The stars for me were the lipsticks.
Romantic Breakdown-this is a sheer nude with a lustre finish and I have found it was not the favorite of other beauty bloggers. I love a good nude that can go with anything. It has a touch of shimmer and didn't wear as long as I wanted it too but it goes on very smooth and can easily be adjusted and kicked up depending on the lip liner you place with it.
Burmese Kiss-this is a bright pink, coral with warm undertones, with a finish more on the satin side, described as matte. I thought this was going to be a color I could not pull off and I love it. I will love it even more this summer. This stayed on me almost the entire "work" day. Ha Ha, as I am wearing my I Love Rum shirt, clearly working from home.
And last up, Lavender Jade, this is the color everyone wanted. This is a cool toned, matte purple. It goes on thick and dragged a little. I have mixed feelings. My friends love it and I might more when it is summer and I am not wearing my winter coat still. Clearly I threw it on at the last minute since I am wearing a red top, fashion faux pas......
So overall I was happy with the items I picked. This was a limited edition collection but it does appear some items were restocked today and may be through Thursday. So get on over to MAC and see what you find.
What items did you get? Love it or hate it? Let me know in the comments below!!
What is nice about this collection, at least where the lipsticks are concerned, is you can find dupes for many of them.
Next up is the Julia Petit Collection :)
Have a great day!! xo

MAC Cinderella Collection Stroke of Midnight Palette Review And Swatches
I know my posts have been short and sweet lately lovies I just am a little overwhelmed these days, I have the products rolling in, wish the money was too! But I am here and also plan on doing another giveaway soon since we have so many new members, so stay tuned for that xo
My favorite Disney movie growing up was, and still is, The Little Mermaid. It is such a magical tale and that gorgeous red hair.......Well this season MAC came out with their Cinderella collection. I was lucky enough to get some of those pieces to review. The general consensus on the lipsticks, Free As A Butterfly and Royal Ball, was that although beautiful, they were just too sheer.
These were also my thoughts. I also feel that the packaging, although a beautiful iridescent blue, could have much fancier.
But today I want to talk about the Stroke of Midnight eye shadow palette, as this is the star in my eyes. It is absolutely beautiful.
Yes, five of the six shades are available permanently on MAC's site but I like having coordinating colors in one palette. These six compliment each other so well and I have been reaching for this palette almost daily. The palette consists of warm undertones and goes perfect on my skin. Love, love, love. I just recently started playing with matte colors and these two are great.
From top to bottom:
Vapour-a peachy pink color with a velvet finish. It does take some time to build up but is a great muted highlight color.
Phloof-a frosted off white color with a frosty finish. Another great highlight color for under brow and inner eye.
Omega-a beigey, taupe color with a matte finish. I love using this as my base and all over lid color.
Quarry-a plummy, brown color with a matte finish. This shows up more purple on my skin and of course I love that,
Satin Taupe-medium dark taupe brown color with a frost finish. The shimmer is gorgeous. In this swatch it looks almost copper like but if your skin tone is like mine, that is not how it translates.
Stroke of Midnight-black, plummy color with sparkle and a velvet finish. This is great for defining and creating dimension. There is no fallout on this color either but it does look pretty matte once on. This is also the LE color.
Here is the look I came up with when I first used the palette.
Very, very simple with a lot of blending. I wanted it to look seamless. I actually used all the colors. Overall, for the price of $44, I think it was well worth it. Like I said, I reach for it all the time and there is plenty of product for this to last a very long time. Just like the happily ever after of Cinderella.
Did you get your hands on any of this collection?
What were your favorite pieces?
Let me know in the comments below!!
Next up I will be reviewing the Bao Bao Won collection. MAC is really releasing so many wonderful collections one after another and they won't be stopping any time soon!!
Have a great day!! xoxo

MAC Studio Sculpt Quicky Foundation Review
I think I mentioned this in my most recent video, I love my Estee Lauder Double Wear but I have been so dry lately I needed something to help with that. Enter MAC Studio Sculpt!!
I love it, I seriously am in loooooooove with it.
It goes on like a dream and is so smooth and creamy. I am actually an NW20 in this shade which I am at odds with. Mac is backwards with its toning system....is that a thing?? So the W is usually referring to warm yellow undertones but at Mac it is for cool, pink undertones.....I am confused just typing this. I think it is a bit too pinky on me, although it photographs very well. I have ordered an NC20 which I should have Friday to really compare. So just keep that in mind when ordering online, their system is backwards. And if you try it on in store make sure you go to a window to check it in natural lighting.
The only thing I wish I could change is that I do need to set with a pretty good setting powder or I will get oily during the day. I have read a bunch of reviews and this is just the way this foundation is. So if you are super oily, I do not recommend this. If you have normal to dry skin, this is worth picking up. It gives a natural looking dewey finish to the skin. I also noticed that after you put it on, it looks even better by the time I am done with all of my makeup. Like it settles in a GOOD way :)
The foundation is thick (but not KVD thick) and not runny and despite the weird presentation, like you're squirting out frosting, it makes for a no mess application. I put it on the back of my hand to pick up with my brush. It is medium to full coverage but I barely need any. If I have a breakout then I can use more. I did just think about when I got to the bottom of the tube how will I get all the product out? This product is definitely build-able.
I use my 187SE duo fibre brush to apply and it gives me an airbrushed finish. I tried my Sigma F80 with it and I was not pleased.....maybe it's me?? I'm truly more of a stipple-er than a buffer. I haven't tried to apply with my beauty blender yet and I am not sure why. I think I wanted this to work so badly with my brushes I just overlooked my old standby.
I will update you when the NC20 comes as I am really hoping it is even better due to the coloring. This is the only foundation I have tried from Mac, which one do you all use or prefer? There are so many to choose from!
Let me know in the comment below :) Would you like a post on determining undertones and all that jazz? :)
Did I mention I am in love with this?? :)
Have a great day!! xo
