Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat Concealer & Becca Radiant Skin Satin Reviews

For awhile now I have been using IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye Concealer as I have dark circles under my eyes (read about them HERE).....I had been on the hunt my entire life for something to help me combat them and it has been so frustrating.  When I found this product, it drastically changed the way my face looked, to me at least and that is who matters, right? :)

When I was researching products (which means googling about it) I kept coming across Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat as being one of the top concealers.  Clearly the price tag is what kept me far, far away from it.But as of lately, I have been up at all hours of the night with my puppy.  I wouldn't trade the late night feedings and kisses for anything but I finally decided to take the plunge and try the concealer.  I figured if it is really going to be 8 hours of sleep in a bottle, then it is worth it and if there is any time to test this bad boy out, it is now.

Be warned, you are about to see my bags without makeup!! I was kind of scared myself :)

Here is me without anything on my eyes, zoomed in, do you see these scary purplish blue bags??  :( Lay the pity on.....

Okay, so here is me applying the Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat.

In case you didn't know, the best way to apply concealer is in a triangle shape. You don't want to just dot it directly under your eyes, you want to lighten and conceal down on your face as well.  Keep this trick in mind when we go over contouring :)  This trick changed my face forever!  I also use one of my fluffy concealer brushes and pat the product into my skin, don't rub, for an air brushed finish.

Now let's see what, if anything, the concealer concealed.

I would say YES!!  This is also pre-foundation and setting powder.  But, being that this is in direct sunlight, I would say it did a pretty good job.

Now let's do the other eye in Bye Bye Under Eye.

The bags are still concealed a bit more with Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat.  This is also the perfect highlighter too.  I use it in the corner of my eyes and down my nose.  My favorite thing about this is that it does not settle into the fine lines around my eyes.  I still love my Bye Bye Under Eye and will use them both until they are gone, but when it comes to pictures, that is where you really see what the Yves Saint Laurent is made of.  Actually, I think next I will try using them together and see what happens :)

The other thing I wanted to mention is supposedly Maybelline's Dream Lumi Touch Highlighting Concealer is supposed to be a drugstore dup for this.

In my opinion, there is no comparison.  I have used that concealer many times and while it is good, I find that it does not stay on all day.  But for $7.99 it is worth trying to see if it works for you!

Now, let's get to the foundation.

Becca Radiant Skin Satin in Noisette.  I actually purchased this with points from Birchbox! I also used their Find Your Shade Tool and it was a perfect match.  Plus, I actually got a message directly from Birchbox when I inquired about this foundation! Watch it HERE!

It comes out nice and is a light to medium coverage.  I applied with my Beauty Blender in a dabbing motion all over my face.  It went on smooth and did not roll up or cake on my face. I have to say I am very very pleased with it and will be purchasing it again.  I was looking for a nice oil free foundation that was cheaper than my Hourglass one.  This lasted all day and kept me shine free.

Here I am with all my makeup done, in the kitchen light.

And here we are outside!  I can't see the concealer or the foundation, so it's a WIN WIN :)

Overall, both of these products are worth the hefty price tag and I am quite pleased with the results!!  A little goes a long way so they will last me awhile, too.

What is your go to concealer and foundation?

Let me know in the comments below!

Have a great day!!

    1. It really is! And the price is not bad, sure I wish the bottle was bigger but because of the coverage I really don't need to use that much :) xo Let me know if you get it and what you think!!
